infections present in all water sources.
- Superox is also used as a germicide for sanitizationtion of surfaces
and equipments in farm buildings (such as dairy barns, milking parlours,
horse barns, poultry houses, shelter sheds and other types of livestock
buildings). It may be used as a spray through pressure washers or
spraying apparatus, in wheel or foot dips, or as a mist.
NEED FOR SUPEROX
Biosecurity
- Biosecurity, which literally means safety of living things, is a
programme designed to prevent the exposure of the animals to disease
causing organisms by reducing the introduction and spread of pathogens
into and between farms.
- Biosecurity is the cheapest and at the same time most effective means
of disease control available, without which no disease prevention
programme will work.
- Biosecurity is a defensive health plan with a set of hygiene
procedures that can help keep your farm disease free.
- Biosecurity is, therefore, important in all livestock operations.
The most effective form of protection against disease, especially for
livestock under modern production and rearing techniques is Biosecurity
i.e., excluding disease from the farming environment and this holds the key
to successful and profitable business.
- To keep highly contagious diseases like RD, IBD, ND etc. out of the
farm
- To reduce common pathogens like E.Coli and Salmonella

MD and IBD virus
